Solver Options: Large Deflection & Plastic Report • Large Deflection: When models contain plastic material, users can specify that the solver will use either true strain or engineering strain. • Plastic Report: For plastic materials only, stresses and strains at nodes are reported either as values at gaussian points or as extrapolated values. When using the Program Controlled, extrapolated values will be reported for the elastic range. For the plastic range, values at gaussian points will be reported.
