Contact Smoothing • In previous releases, we invalidate the contact region which has cylindrical smoothing if the cylindrical face which is scoped to the contact/target that has more than 2 edges. • From 2023R2, multi-edge cylindrical faces are supported for contact cylindrical smoothing • This will help users to select any cylindrical entity for cylindrical smoothing which was not possible in previous releases. - SECDATA is written with the average centroid of the edges at each endpoint in the input file. • The application issues a warning if the cylinder edges are out of the calculated tolerance limit. In such cases, use the Revolute Axis option to manually identify the cylinder endpoints.
