56 ©2023 ANSYS, Inc. / Confidential Usability improvement on pocket tracking • Use consistent pocket index values in pocket_tracking.csv and in EnSight - The IDs used in pocket_tracking.csv now match the PocketIndex values in EnSight. - The ID of a pocket will not change throughout the life cycle of the pocket. • Reserve slots in pocket_tracking.csv for pockets associated with open boundaries - Reserve the first several slots for "open" pockets, one for each open boundary. - Mark these pockets as "OPEN_pocket_n" in pocket_tracking.csv. • Allocate newly generated pockets to "least used" slots - Avoid allocating a newly generated pocket to a slot that just became empty in pocket_tracking.csv. - Give each slot a "break" before assigning a new pocket to it. Switching to a new pocket right away gives user the impression that a pocket has jumps in its volume and pressure. • Constrain the pocket domain using six environment variables (unit is cm) - FORTE_POCKET_XMIN, FORTE_POCKET_XMAX - FORTE_POCKET_YMIN, FORTE_POCKET_YMAX - FORTE_POCKET_ZMIN, FORTE_POCKET_ZMAX
