©2026 ANSYS, Inc. 8 Light Guide – Control on max prism height, in hybrid mode Hybrid mode of Light Guide is extremely flexible as prism could be inside or outside main body. The new max prism height parameter limits each prism height and avoids any collision with a mechanical element. As a result, user can optimize light guide while considering various manufacturing and assembly constraints. In addition, the body type of max prism height definition is available to "remove" prism from the main body. Prisms are sculpted on the lightguide body and no material is added. Hybrid mode is now able to completely replace add and remove modes that will be deprecated in a future release.
