©2026 ANSYS, Inc. 4 Ansys Speos User Experience Enhancements Get Sources/Sensors/ Geometries Improved Simulation Result Visualization Ray Animation A new ray length parameter streamlines light propagation in ray tracing enabling users to crop ray paths in interactive simulations and Light Expert analysis. The Play function animates ray tracing, offering dynamic visualizations of light behavior across multiple display modes. These tools deliver advanced yet user-friendly solutions for analyzing complex optical systems. The updated visualization capabilities allows users to adjust the transparency of 3D simulation results, making analysis more efficient, particularly during interactive ray tracing. Users can now see geometries and rays behind xmp, xm3, and image results, enhancing clarity. Additionally, null values in xm3 results can be displayed as transparent for better data interpretation. Enables users to seamlessly create a new simulation based on an existing one, even if the simulation types differ. Key features from the original simulation—such as sources, sensors, and geometries—can be transferred to the new simulation either collectively or individually, ensuring a smooth transition, simplifying the setup of the new simulation. Daily tasks made simpler and more intuitive! Key enhancements include contextual menus for multi-selection, streamlined access to sources and sensors, improved simulation transparency, ray animations, and parametric sun orientation for ambient sources. Designed with optical engineers in mind, these features ensure a smoother workflow and clearer insights.
