CFX: Moist Air Modeling (β)
• Moist Air Modeling is important in many
industries, including HVAC, Gas Turbines and
Compressors
- Evaluate condensation processes in moist air & wet
steam simulations
- Allow mass transfer between only one component of
the gas phase and the liquid phase
• Mass transfer between complete phases was already
possible
- Enable beta options and set the environment variable:
CFX_ALLOW_DROPLETS_WITH_VAR_COMP_MIXTURE = 1
