Integrated with Ansys HFSS
Ansys HFSS is used for designing and simulating high-frequency electronic products such as antennas,
antenna arrays, RF or microwave components, high-speed interconnects, filters, connectors, IC packages,
and printed circuit boards.
If you have an extremely high-fidelity antenna model
and need to look at a full vehicle simulation, you can
import the results of the tests from Ansys HFSS into the
EMC Plus model and carry forward with testing the full
system model.
This image shows the animations of the postprocessing
of the electronic fields.
Integrated with Ansys Rocky
Ansys Rocky is the industry-leading discrete element model simulation tool used for solving engineering
problems dealing with particulate systems. It allows people to predict how charged particles (Ansys Charge
Plus software is used) will deposit on a surface or how charged particles with a velocity passing over a surface
will invoke a charge and potentially arc with the surface.
This solution was developed for a moon rover, basically
an electric vehicle, that operates in a very dusty
environment that:
1. May develop a charged environment
2. May accumulate dust on solar panels rendering
them ineffective
