HPC Now Enables Parallel Parameters! (Technology formerly known as DSO )
• Parallel design points are now enabled with HPC products
• HPC product now enables faster speed and larger scale technology for single design as well
as running design points in parallel
‐ HPC product more powerful and flexible
‐ No need to acquire the "right-mix" of HPC and DSO products
• DSO product is not compatible with Electronics Pro-Premium-Enterprise products
‐ DSO, the product, is now a legacy product
‐ DSO, the technology i.e. (solving parameter values in parallel), is still available. Enabled by HPC.
• Just need HPC for all technologies that use multiple cores and/or multiple machines
• Every additional parallel value beyond the first included parameter value needs
‐ Eight (8) "units" of HPC work group or one (1) HPC Pack
‐ Base four cores included with each additional parameter in parallel
