AVxcelerate Sensors features like accurate 3D sensor placement, IP protection for camera imagers, and standardized interconnects undoubtedly facilitate the development of ADAS/AD systems. RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS Ansys AV Simulation: AVxcelerate Sensors 3D Sensor Placement and Simulation Configuration UI • Enhanced Visualization Tools: o The tool provides a visual interface to place and verify sensors, reducing placement errors. o Using the ego vehicle asset as a reference helps with accurate sensor placement and orientation. • Automated Configuration: o Pre-filled simulation parameters based on sensor properties streamline the setup process. o Live error checking helps identify and correct inconsistencies in real-time, reducing the likelihood of simulation errors. • User-Friendly UI: o The WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) approach ensures that users can see the exact placement and orientation of sensors, making the process more intuitive. o Replacing JSON configuration files with an easy-to-use UI lowers the barrier for new users and improves overall usability. Standardized Radar Interface to Connect 3 rd Party Sensor • Standardized Interface: o A standardized radar interface is introduced to connect third-party sensor models. • Propagation Output: o A new output, the propagation output, is available, representing all contributions in the scene and following the OSI standard.
