New Features
• Psychoacoustics Criteria in PyAnsys Sound
o The psychoacoustics criteria used to estimate noise annoyance can now be calculated in Python from any
stationary sound. Power Spectral Density (PSD) is included.
• Sound Power Level in SAS and PyAnsys Sound
o Two new acoustics criteria have now been included: Sound Power Level (SWL) and LWA.
o Sound Power Level (SWL) calculation according to ISO 3744 measures the Acoustic Power delivered by a
source, and LWA is the standard calculation used to indicate the noise emission of commercial products.
• Generating Sound from Spectrum in SAS
o Three methods to generate the time signal from the spectrum are now available – respecting the content
of the sound with regards to tones, broadband noise or a combination of both.
