• Significant performance improvements in automated meshing and the flow solver provide a 2X speed-up for
moving components, highly faceted surface meshes, multiphase flows and applications with pressure
stratification.
• Runtime reductions up to 2.7X compared to prior release across a range of applications, from screw
compressors to gear boxes.
• Enhancements to internal combustion engine (ICE) and general combustion simulations have been made,
including a new option that allows total energy to be transported and new wall impingement model constants
for improved accuracy.
