2 Ansys Speos 2023 R2 Update Sensor / Autonomous Driving • Speos Sensor System - As the popularity of camera systems continues to grow with integration into more devices, the development of applications in new markets and integration of more complex features virtual validation is key to shorten and improve the overall development cycle. Speos Camera sensor permits designers to make the acquisition of the scene, accounting for lighting conditions, dynamics, etc. Speos Sensor System is based on EMVA 1288 standard and has been designed to post process the simulation result to: o Convert the received energy into a photon map. o Convert this photon map into electron map. o Digitalize this electron map to generate a raw image. o Develop this raw image to produce the final image. Optical Part Design • Light guide, Prism Trimming on Both Sides - Speos 2023 R2 introduces a new parameter to control lightguide homogeneity. It is now possible to trim prisms on both side (either bottom side or top side or both). Like other Lightguide parameters, it can be constant, defined by a table or using control points. Thanks to this new flexibility, designers can optimize lightguides to achieve perfect homogeneity while keeping a good efficiency. Ansys Integration • Ansys Optics Launcher - Ansys Optics Launcher helps users get started with any optics applications, from a simple interface. The Launcher provides: o Self-serve 30-days trial licenses o Automatic download and installation of the latest software version o Direct access to examples from optics.ansys.com • Support and Help Direct Access - Speos 2023 R2 introduces a "Learning and Support" tab that offers useful direct links for learning, support and documentation. • Speos as License Preference for Spaceclaim - Speos 2023 R2, introduces a specific launcher which forces the correct Speos environment including Speos license preference (overriding any other license preference settings). o Speos users are using only Speos License increments. o A Spaceclaim dirmod is no longer required to use Speos. o This launcher is now associated with .scdocx document to open Speos documents with a double click.
